Populations I Serve

I work with anyone 13 and older who is ready to challenge the systems that have taught them they're 'too much.' My approach is grounded in understanding that healing happens within relationships and communities - which is why I take a systems approach to therapy, involving families, caregivers, and loved ones when appropriate.

For clients under 18, family involvement is an essential part of creating a supportive environment for healing. For adult clients, we'll discuss how to involve your support systems with your full consent and autonomy.

1

Tired of explaining your LGBTQIA+ identity to therapists?

You deserve more than having to educate your therapist about basic LGBTQIA+ concepts.
I work with:

  • People exploring their sexual orientation or gender identity at any stage of life

  • Individuals navigating coming out processes with family, work, or community

  • Trans and gender non-conforming people seeking gender-affirming therapy support

  • LGBTQIA+ people experiencing minority stress, discrimination, or internalized shame

  • Couples and individuals in diverse relationship structures, including ENM and kink-positive relationships

  • People building chosen family and community connections

  • LGBTQIA+ individuals with intersectional identities navigating multiple forms of marginalization

2

Struggling with a brain that works differently?

Your neurodivergent brain isn't broken - it's beautifully different. I work with:

  • ADHD individuals tired of being told to 'just focus' or 'try harder'

  • Autistic people seeking therapy that celebrates rather than pathologizes their traits

  • AuDHD folks navigating the unique experience of being both ADHD and autistic

  • Highly sensitive people who've been told they're 'too emotional' or 'too much'

  • Late-diagnosed adults processing years of masking and misunderstanding

  • People experiencing autistic or ADHD burnout from trying to fit neurotypical expectations

  • Individuals learning to unmask safely and authentically

  • Neurodivergent people seeking accommodations in work, school, or relationships

3

Fighting an eating disorder or disordered relationship with food?

Recovery is possible, and it doesn't have to involve another diet.
I work with:

  • People with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and ARFID seeking weight-inclusive recovery

  • Individuals breaking free from diet culture and chronic dieting cycles

  • Those struggling with body image in a culture that profits from body shame

  • People in all body sizes who've been told their eating behaviors are 'wrong'

  • Individuals navigating eating disorders alongside neurodivergent traits or sensory sensitivities

  • Those seeking recovery without the goal of weight loss or body modification

  • People healing their relationship with movement and finding joy in their bodies

  • Family members and loved ones learning how to support eating disorder recovery

4

Carrying trauma that others don't understand?

Your trauma responses make sense, and your healing doesn't have to happen alone.
I work with:

  • Survivors of childhood trauma, abuse, and neglect seeking EMDR and somatic healing approaches

  • People processing complex trauma (C-PTSD) from ongoing systemic oppression or family dysfunction

  • Individuals healing from religious trauma, spiritual abuse, or faith deconstruction experiences

  • Those carrying intergenerational trauma and breaking cycles of harm in their families

  • People whose trauma intersects with their marginalized identities - understanding that oppression IS trauma

  • Survivors of medical trauma, including harmful experiences in healthcare settings

  • Individuals processing grief and loss, including disenfranchised grief that society doesn't recognize

  • Those healing from intimate partner violence, sexual assault, or boundary violations

5

Living in rural areas where affirming care is hard to find?

Your zip code shouldn't determine your access to quality mental health care.

I work with:

  • Individuals in small towns where everyone knows everyone and privacy feels impossible

  • Families in the Permian Basin and oil patch communities who live and work across state lines

  • People in rural areas where the nearest LGBTQIA+ affirming or eating disorder specialist is hours away

  • Those who've tried local therapists but felt misunderstood or judged for their identities

  • Individuals navigating when it's safe to be authentic in conservative or unwelcoming communities

  • People who need specialized care but can't travel long distances due to work, family, or financial constraints

  • Families dealing with the unique stressors of rural life - isolation, economic challenges, limited resources

6

Supporting a loved one through their healing journey?

Healing happens in community, and family involvement can be transformative.

I work with:

  • Parents of LGBTQIA+ children seeking guidance on how to be truly supportive and affirming

  • Family members learning how to support eating disorder recovery without enabling diet culture

  • Partners of neurodivergent individuals wanting to understand and accommodate different needs

  • Loved ones of trauma survivors learning how to create safety and avoid re-traumatization

  • Family members navigating their own feelings about a loved one's mental health journey

  • Support people who want to be helpful but aren't sure what to say or do

  • Parents learning how to support their neurodivergent children without trying to 'fix' them

  • Family members dealing with their own grief, confusion, or stress about a loved one's struggles

  • Those who want to be part of the solution rather than unknowingly contributing to the problem

Navigating multiple identities and intersectional experiences?

Your identities don't exist in isolation, and neither should your healing.

I work with:

  • People of color in the LGBTQIA+ community navigating racism within queer spaces and homophobia within their cultural communities

  • Neurodivergent LGBTQIA+ individuals managing multiple forms of marginalization and discrimination

  • People with disabilities seeking therapy that honors both their disability experience and other marginalized identities

  • Individuals from religious or cultural backgrounds that conflict with their LGBTQIA+ identity or neurodivergent traits

  • People in larger bodies who also identify as LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, or hold other marginalized identities

  • Those navigating class differences, educational access, or economic challenges alongside other identity struggles

  • Individuals whose age intersects with other identities in complex ways - from LGBTQIA+ elders to neurodivergent teens

  • People whose immigration status, language, or cultural background creates additional layers of marginalization

  • Those experiencing multiple forms of minority stress and seeking therapy that understands the full complexity of their lived experience

  • Individuals who feel like they don't fully belong in any single community and are seeking integration and wholeness

Do you see yourself in these experiences?

If you recognize your struggles in any of these descriptions, you've found the right place. You deserve therapy that sees all of who you are - not just the parts that are easy to understand or socially acceptable.

Your intersecting identities, your complex experiences, your 'too muchness' - all of it is welcome here. You shouldn't have to choose which part of yourself to bring to therapy or spend sessions educating me about your basic existence.

Whether you're 13 or 75, whether you're dealing with one of these challenges or several, whether you're in the heart of a major city or the middle of the desert - your healing journey matters, and you deserve support that truly gets it.

Ready to experience therapy that celebrates every part of who you are? Your liberation journey starts here.
