WHAT SUPERVISION LOOKS LIKE
Supervision with me is collaborative, not hierarchical. We work together on:

Case conceptualization through anti-oppression lens
Developing clinical skills in specialized modalities

Processing countertransference and parallel process

Navigating ethical dilemmas with integrity

Building confidence in your clinical judgment

Integrating your identities and values into your therapeutic work I provide direct feedback,
celebrate your strengths, and challenge you to grow
all while centering your wellbeing and preventing burnout.

My Clinical Background:

I bring diverse experience across multiple treatment settings, including higher-level eating disorder care, residential treatment for foster children, local mental health authority work, fully-remote agency practice, and solo private practice. This breadth of experience means I understand the unique challenges and opportunities of different practice settings and can help you navigate wherever you are in your career.

SUPERVISION PHILOSOPHY
Social Justice-Oriented:
We examine how systems of oppression show up in our clients' lives AND in the therapy room,
including in supervision itself
Developmental & Strength-Based:
Supervision meets you where you are and builds on your existing strengths
Trauma-Informed:
Just as we practice trauma-informed therapy, supervision itself is trauma-informed
we address parallel processes and supervisee wellbeing
Anti-Perfectionism:
Making mistakes is part of learning. We examine ruptures with curiosity, not shame.

Culturally Humble:

I bring expertise in certain areas while acknowledging I don't know everything about your

lived experience or cultural background

WHY VIRTUAL SUPERVISION WORKS
Virtual supervision breaks down geographic barriers to specialized training.

Many counselors in rural or underserved areas have limited access to supervisors with

eating disorder, trauma, or LGBTQIA+ expertise.

Virtual supervision allows you to work with a specialist regardless of location.

Research shows virtual supervision is as effective as in-person for skill development, and many supervisees appreciate the flexibility and reduced barriers.
